More Information on Ruth Joudry:
Rev. Ruth G. Joudry was born in New Brunswick, Canada in 1961. In her
teen years she felt the call of the Lord to full time Christian ministry.
She attended Eastern Pentecostal Bible College in Peterborough, Ontario.
She married Peter in 1981. They have three grown children, and two beautiful
granddaughters.
Ruth has held credentials with the Pentecostal Assemblies of Canada
/ Assemblies of God since 1982, and is ordained with the Assemblies
of God.
Ruth has served the Lord and His people, while pastoring with her husband
in Nova Scotia, Canada. She has been used of the Lord as a speaker to
ladies groups, churches and para-church groups. Because of her difficult
childhood and subsequent healings, she has ministered many times to
hurting lives.
Over the past several years Peter and Ruth have become involved in training
and taking ministry teams on short term mission outreaches to other
countries. Peter and Ruth and their family spent one year in Grenada,
West Indies, on a short term mission outreach project.
From 1993 to April 2000, the Joudrys were in Miami, Florida involved
in missions and evangelism. During that time Ruth served as Children’s
Pastor at Upper Room Assembly of God. In 1995 the Lord birthed Battlefield
Ministries, over which Peter and Ruth give leadership. "Our mission
is to motivate and mobilize God's people to the front lines of battle."
This happens in a variety of ways including, ministry in local churches
and para-church groups, short term mission outreaches, and the Battlefield
Basics: School of Missions and Discipleship.
Peter and Ruth served as Senior Pastors at Florida’s First Assembly
of God in Wauchula, Florida, beginning in 2000, at which time Ruth was
involved in a variety of ministries, as well as ministry to the local
high school.
Ruth became the Early Childhood Ministries pastor at Manassas Assembly
of God, Bristow, VA in January of 2005. In her role there she gives
direction to the Early Childhood, Girls, Women’s and Hospitality
Ministry Departments. As well she is involved in counseling. Ruth also
works with Peter in Battlefield Ministries.
